Breckland Middle School is comprehensive co-educational 9-13 middle school on the edge of Thetford Forest. It is the part of Suffolk three tier education system and as a middle school it offers enhanced facilities and curriculum expertise. The school'serves the small town of Brandon. Its sporting facilities include a well-equipped gymnasium, outdoor pool and large playing fields. Classroom activities are well supported by a wide range of school clubs, which operate both at lunchtime and after-school. These include various sporting clubs, choir, recorder, environmental work, computer club, chess and sporting fixtures with other schools. Educational and residential visits are also arranged. The school aims to create a caring and purposeful atmosphere in which every pupil can achieve.
