Background:
Woodhall is a purpose-built school catering for children from the ages of four to nine. The school is built in the shape of a rectangle with two inner courtyards, one of which maintains a bog garden and flower beds. The school has eight classrooms, which are situated within the main school building. In addition the school has a well-stocked library, a large hall, a computer suite and number of smaller areas designed specifically for small group work. It also has a large playground offers the children opportunity to play games such as football; where as the small playground is used for skipping, small balls. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at the lunchtime and after-school. Educational visits are also arranged to enhance the curriculum. The school aims to create a stimulating learning environment in which children are pleased to learn and teachers to teach which ensures the highest achievements for each person in a secure and caring environment.
